Over 112 Years and Still Running: The Best American Car Brand

Innovative Beginnings

2015 Ford F-150 King Ranch

Henry Ford, founder of the Ford Motor Company, could see the future of automobiles before anyone else. He saw cars as the future of transportation, despite the fact that there were only 8,000 vehicles and less than 150 miles of paved road in the entire country, and wanted to make them affordable for the country's growing middle class.

In 1908, he did just that with the introduction of the Model T. Unlike other cars at the time, it was affordable, cheap to maintain and repair, and much easier to drive. His assembly line methods allowed for fast, consistent production of the cars, making them extremely reliable as well. And thanks to a system of dealers, Ford was able to quickly distribute cars across the country, selling more than 15 million Model T units by 1927.

Ford paved the way for the automobile, and for affordable car ownership in America, ultimately help shaping our current quality of life.

Ahead of the Competition

2017 Ford GT

Just as Henry Ford innovated at the turn of the 20th century, the Ford Motor Company continues to innovate and stay ahead of the competition in 2015 and beyond.

The new aluminum-bodied Ford F-150 is a great example of Ford's dedication to innovation. It's lighter, yet safer and more efficient. While other truck manufacturers are happy to delay innovation, Ford takes it by the horns and makes it happen all on its own.

Coming soon, Ford dealerships in NH will also be making big splashes in the performance market. The 2016 Mustang GT350 will be one of the best-performing muscle cars on the planet, at a price no other manufacturer can beat. Its modified sibling, the GT350R, will do the same for track-ready performance cars.

On top of this, Ford is bringing the Focus RS performance hatchback to the U.S. for the first time in the 2016 model year. This all-wheel drive beast will feature more power than any other performance hatchback on the market, thanks to the 2.3-liter turbocharged EcoBoost engine seen in the new Mustang EcoBoost.

Finally, Ford is reviving its champion supercar, the GT, for the 2017 model year. It will be powered by a next-generation 3.5-liter twin-turbo EcoBoost V6, and promises to produce more than 600 horsepower. This engine is race-tested, and will use an incredible 7-speed dual-clutch transmission that offers instant gear changes and optimal control and handling.

And if you thought that was amazing, there's one more surprise for truck lovers: the 2017 Raptor will be updated with a new aluminum body and will feature a 3.5-liter twin-turbo EcoBoost V6. The same one being used in the new Ford GT? We'll have to wait and see!

Ford is All Work and All Play

Some car brands are good at vehicles that get the job done, while others are good at making cars that are fun. Ford, on the other hand, is great at both. And for the staff here at Irwin Ford, that's what makes selling Fords exciting. Here's a look at our work side and our play side for the 2015 model year you'll find at New Hampshire Ford dealers.

2015 Ford F-150

2015 Ford F-150

Looking to stand by the slogan "Built Ford Tough" and make its trucks more efficient, Ford shocked the industry by releasing the first mass-produced aluminum-bodied pickup, the 2015 Ford F-150.

Utilizing military-grade material and years perfecting the technology, the new F-150 is stronger, lighter, safer, and more efficient. And thanks to its turbocharged EcoBoost engine options, it can offer more torque without sacrificing fuel economy.

Overall, Ford knows that changing its award-winning, best-selling truck was controversial. But when the finished product looks and performs as well as the 2015 F-150, it's hard to argue with success. Come experience this incredible new truck at the Ford dealer NH truck buyers love the most: Irwin Ford.

2015 Ford Mustang

2015 Ford Mustang

With the muscle car wars of the 1960s and 1970s revived, American car companies are looking to outdo each other with each new model generation. And with the 2015 Mustang, Ford has put all of its cards on the table and declared itself the winner.

For the past 50 years, the Mustang has been America’s favorite performance car, and the company is only looking to further cement that title with the completely-redesigned 2015 model.

On the outside, Ford gave the Mustang a fresh, sleek look that really modernizes the Mustang for a new generation. Its still got the looks of a big, American muscle car, but also takes cues from high-end sports cars to make it more intimidating and beautiful all at the same time.

The inside of the Mustang was also given a sleek, modern redesign. The classic, retro feel of the previous generation is gone, replaced by beautiful materials, new features, and a look of quality that you’d expect from a car in a higher-class than Ford’s classic pony car, which starts at under $24,000.

Added to the line-up is a new model option: the EcoBoost. With a 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, the new EcoBoost Mustang offers a great middle ground between the entry-level V6 and the high-performing V8 in the GT model.

Car enthusiasts looking for an inexpensive car that can be tuned for extreme performance are raving about the EcoBoost Mustang as an affordable car that offers both the performance benefits of a turbocharged engine and the driving experience of a rear-wheel drive sports car.

We Sell Experiences

Drive One 4 UR School

While selling cars is a business, Irwin Ford has seen massive growth and success because we try to sell an experience instead of just a product. This means honest and upfront pricing, product specialists that guide you through the process of buying a car, and an overall simple, friendly experience that we guarantee as the Ford dealer NH trusts.

Most car buyers have likely had a bad experience at some point when buying a new or used car, and we do our best to avoid putting buyers in uncomfortable situations. We understand that buying a car is the second largest purchase most people make in their entire lives, and you shouldn’t be treated like you’re at a drive-thru restaurant, rushed to make a selection.

Trust us with your next car, and we’ll give you a different perspective on car buying.

Giving Back to the Community

Irwin Ford strives to always go above and beyond for our customers at our Ford dealer in NH, but that also extends to the Laconia and surrounding communities as a whole. We offer a variety of in-house services, such as credit clinics, new car owner clinics, drive safety courses, and many more to help out car buyers before, during, and after the process.

We also give back by donating to local charities and hosting charity events here at the dealership. We sponsor blood drives each year during June and October, raise money for local high schools with our “Drive One for Your School” program, raised $10,000 for the Lake Regions Boys and Girls Club, donated 100+ turkeys every Thanksgiving to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, annual dog adoption day in early June, and have multiple other food, clothes, and toy drives throughout the year.

The more we give back, the more we succeed thanks to Laconia!
